We’re delighted to announce that Stephen Graham has been appointed Chief Executive of Plumbing Pensions effective from 1st July 2024. The Chief Executive is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the Administration Company and supporting the Trustee Company in running and administering the Scheme.
Stephen Graham started his career in Mercer as an actuarial analyst and worked on a number of large clients during his time with the company. Since joining Plumbing Pensions in 2017, Stephen has set the strategy and driven key changes to the operational aspects of the business. Stephen is a member of the Pensions Management Institute and sits on the Pension & Lifetime Savings Association’s DB Pensions Committee.
The current Chief Executive, Kate Yates, will leave Plumbing Pensions at the end of June to assume a new role with Lloyds Banking Group. Kate was appointed Chief Executive in 2016 and under her leadership has overseen and managed the complex decisions, projects, and day to day administration work of the Scheme which has around £1.3 billion in assets and 31,000 members.
Jon Bridger, Chair of the Trustee Company comments: “We would like to extend our thanks to Kate for her commitment and dedication over the last eight years and wish her well for the future. On behalf of the Trustee, we wish Stephen every success and look forward to collaborating with him to ensure we continue our mission to provide cost-effective, secure pensions for the plumbing, mechanical and allied services industry.”
