About the Scheme
The Plumbing & Mechanical Services (UK) Industry Pension Scheme was set up in 1975 to provide pension benefits for employees of firms engaged in the industry. The Scheme offered benefits based on career average earnings until 30 June 2019, when it stopped accepting contributions. It is run by a Trustee Company, which holds the assets completely separately from any of the employers who participate in the Scheme.
